Complaint against Reliance General Insurance / Medi Assist India TPA – Rs.32,643/-: Prashant Moda of Delhi (Email: modapkbl(at)rediffmail.com), had submitted his mediclaim bill with Medi Assist India, TPA of Reliance General Insurance in June 2009. The claim was not settled till January 2010 when he posted the complaint with ICF and ICF took up the complaint with Reliance/Mediassist. His claim was finally settled on 13-05-2010 for Rs.32.643. Refund from Go Ibibo / Spicejet – Rs.12,294/-: Mr. Paramjeet Ganguly of Bangalore had booked a flight ticket on Spicejet through GoIbibo which was cancelled due to covid. The the Airlines confirmed refund to Go Ibibo the customer did not get refund from GoIbibo. Mr. Ganguly posted his complaint with ICF on 15-12-2020 and the matter was taken up Go Ibibo. Warranty service from Havells – Rs.5,000/- : Ms. Radhika Bansal of Gurgaon, Haryana purchased an induction cookware of Havells, in Aug’13, with the warranty of 2 years. It was not working and she had lodged a complaint with Havells (EB270484). Even after continuous follow-up her complaint was not attended to. Refund from Snapdeal for return of damaged product – Rs.4,469/: Mrs. Lina Heredia of Mumbai, Maharashtra (russel_athaide[@]hotmail.com) ordered a “study table with 3 Drawers” from Snapdeal which arrived in damaged condition. Though snapdeal agreed to take it back they asked the customer to return the product with a reimbursable courier charge of Rs.400/-. NOKIA not honouring Warranty: Vijay Shanker, Bommair palayam, NEAR PONDICHERRY, Tamil Nadu (Email: vsjsatsanga(at)gmail.com) had a very bad experience in PONDICHERRY where Nokia mobile phone was taken to their service centre, who kept it overnight for 24 hours in their shop, messed around with the instrument, probably damaged it beyond repair and then REFUSED TO REPLACE THE PHONE THAT WAS WELL WITHIN the ONE YEAR WARRANTY.
