Refund from styletag.com – Rs.3,948/-: Ms. Swati Jain of Agra, U.P (jainswati16[@]gmail.com) placed an order with styletag.com on 18-10-2014 for 5 items but received one one after one month and remaining items were not delivered. There was no response from the portal to her complaints. She posted her complaint at India Consumer Forum on 22-11-2014 and the complaint was taken up with the portal. Customer charged for unsolicited debit card – Complaint against ICICI Bank: Dr. Boopathi Manickam of Madurai (psbmmba@yahoo.co.in) posted a complaint with ICF with regard to ICICI bank debiting charges on account of debit card issued by the bank but was not received by Dr. Manickam. Bank did not respond to his complaints. ICF submitted Dr. Manickam’s complaint to the bank and the charges were subsequently reversed.ICICI Bank - 30.12.2009
Refund from Rediff.com shopping – Rs.1,328/-: Susheel Kumar of Manimajra, Chandigarh (sush_kumar3[@]rediffmail.com) bought a product from rediff.com on 30-11-2014 but did not receive the product even after two weeks. He was given an AWB number but it did not exist. He then requested them to cancel the order but rediff.com was not willing to cancel the order. Yepme mailed Mr. Seal that since the product was out of stock they will refund the money. However, till lodging the complaint with ICF on 05-12-2012 he did not receive refund. Refund from snapdeal.com – Rs.22,000/- : Salil Tripathi of Chinchwad, Pune-411019, Maharashtra (saliltripathi.8889[@]outlook.com) ordered Iphone 4 through snapdeal.com on 12th Nov 2014. He did not receive the product though the company gave a non-existing Bluedart AWB. The customer asked for refund but the refund was not forthcoming. Complaint against MakeMyTrip for short payment of train ticket refund – Rs.1272/-: Mr. Thiyagarajan of Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu (thiyagarajan.t(at)gmail.com) had posted a complaint with us on 28-03-2010 for non-receipt of full refund from MakeMyTrip against cancellation of train ticket.
