Complaint regarding refund due from HappyEasygo

I express my utmost displeasure on pending refund for flight ticket booked through HappyEasyGo application (travel agency) for Indigo Flight No. 6E106 from Calcutta to Goa scheduled at 00:15 hrs on 15.11.2021

The flight was cancelled by Airline and matter of refund of the same was initiated up with HappyEasyGo and Interglobe aviation (Indigo).

Indigo has reverted with confirmation and has approved INR 6700.00 as refund money as per attached proof. However, the same is pending to be settled by HappyEasyGo (travel agency).

Various queries have been raised in past though HappyEasyGo as per attached screenshot and none of the queries are addressed.

Further, matter was taken up with customer care helpline representatives which offered pathetic services with false assurances of settlements. Even after constant follow-ups, the matter has been kept in dark and customer forced to run pillar to post to settle the issues.

There has been poor team coordination and lack of responsibilities with third class services by HappyEasyGo, pathetic customer oriented policies HappyEasyGo company has adopted as part of company’s growth plans which raises doubt considering the increasing fraudulent cases by HappyEasyGo.

Even after waiting for initial settlement period of 90 days and constant follow ups with HappyEasyGo vide mail dated 27 Apr, 2022, 6 May, 2022, 15 Jun, 2022, (as per attached proof) there is no confirmation from HappyEasyGo on cut-off of crediting eligible refund amount to my account which the airline has already approved.

They always reply buying more time and send system generated responses. This is day light robbery of public money as customers are already stressed with ever raising inflation and living cost.

The HappyEasyGo application still shows order status against my order as “refunding” as per attached proof even after 6 months of waiting.

View above, request your interference for grave injustice and mental harassment caused to undersigned. The cancellation by Airline itself was discomfort to undersigned and the further hoarding of refund money by HappyEasyGo was domino effect to cause agony, unbearable harassment & mental trauma to the undersigned.

Requested for suitable compensation of refund amount and including fine amount, interest amount and harassment lawsuit compensation for reasons mentioned above considering the merit of the case totaling claim for INR 1, 50, 000.00

As HappyEasyGo is repeated offender, appropriate action to be taken against the agency and consumers must be heavily compensated for losses
