I am registering this complaint on behalf of my family who has recently visited Munsiyari & faced immense difficulty while checking in at Hotel Pandey Lodge. This is to bring to your notice that we have booked 2 rooms with Hotel Pandey Lodge at Munsiyari, Pithoragarh through Cleartrip.Com dated 21.11.17 & another 2 rooms through Go Ibibo .com dated 22.11.17.
In reference to the above , when we arrived at Pandey Lodge on 26.12.17 at 18.00 hrs. , lodge denied to allot any room to us stating that there were no more rooms left at the hotel. After repeated requests we were alloted with only one room ( Room No 210 ) . Please note that ours was a team of 16 members which included 5 senior citizen and one kid under 5 years . Under this unwelcoming circumstance we had no other option but to accomodate the 5 senior members in one room and the remaining 11 of us were stranded in the street & had to spend the night at Tempo Traveller Bus which we hired for travel . Please note that we also ended up paying an additional Rs 6000 while checking out from Room No. 210. apart from the initial booking amount what we had already paid to Go Ibibo & Clear Trip .
The above cited incident was indeed very shameful and was of immense difficulty caused to us . We equally held responsible all the three parties involved in such extreme unprofessional behaviour & look forward towards the authorities to take right course of action so that no such instances gets repeated with others.
Please note that we have already filed a General Diary with the local PS for the above mentioned incident .
