I hired Porter packers and movers through their app on 25th September 2023. I shipped my household stuff like some furniture and a fully automatic washing machine through them. To my surprise, When they made the delivery on 3rd October, My whole washing machine was damaged beyond repair, The drum was all broken and dislocated and whole machine had dents on it.
When I complained to their customer care, They asked me to deal directly with the dealer of that transportation company. The dealer is now not replying nor porter is. Ridiculous service and my washing machine costing 20000 is now broken to a level that no shop is ready to repair it. On Porter’s site they mention that in such an event, The customer is liable to get value of goods damaged; OR ten times the freight amount, but the team is not assisting at all on this. So basically they are not abiding by their policies. I have all the call recordings with their customer service staff and the dealer. Please help.
