I ordered a mobile phone (IQOO Neo 3 128GB) for Rs. 34,900/- from Flipkart on 8th May 2020. However, the mobile was delivered on 15th May 2020. Upon opening the package and mobile I came to know that the buttons of that mobile were loose. They are shaking when the mobile is moved.
As, my mobile is under return policy till 10 days, so I contacted Flipkart regarding Replacement/ refund. First of all, they took more than 5 days to accept my return. However, they accept my return request and arrange a pick up from my location on 21st May 2020 through Delhivery Courier. But to my surprise the return pickup was also cancelled for no reason.
Again, I contacted them regarding the same and requested a call back. I just want to inform you that Contacting Flipkart was very difficult. They don’t have any email ID and their number was always busy. However, they called me and assured me that my mobile would pick up by 10th June 2020. I rest assured. but the return was cancelled on 25th may 2020.
Then again, I tried to contact them. But no call back feature was available. So, I choose mail them, whose response time was 24 Hours. But I got the reply today, i.e. after 3 days. The reply was, “Since the product has crossed the seller’s 7 days replacement period. Due to this, the seller will not able to fulfill your refund request. The good news is that the product is covered under manufacturer’s warranty. You can get in touch with the brand authorized service”
I need, let you know, that I raised the return request within 7 days of delivery. But they took too much time to accept it. And in this period the replacement period is over.
So, Flipkart is playing monopoly with its customer. First it delivers defective product and when you raise a return request Flipkart doesn’t respond. It responds, once the replacement period is over.
So, I request before you to view the matter seriously and punish Flipkart as deemed proper, so that they never dare to play with the taxpayers of India.
