Mobile replaced by Micromax: Mr. Vaibhav Sawaiker of Borivali East, Mumbai 400066, Maharashtra (sawaiker_vaibhav[at]rediffmail.com) had purchased a Micromax phone on 07-04-2013. Since January 2014, he was having series of problems which could not be rectified even after servicing. He wanted a replacement but Micromax was not willing to do the same. Refund from Travolook – Rs.29,775/- : Mr. Arpit Makwana of Thane, Maharashtra tried to book tickets on the portal Travolook however the booking got cancelled due to fare expiration. Customer wrote to the portal for refund however did not receive the same. Customer approached ICF on 15-01-2021 and the matter was taken up with Travolook. Finally customer got refund by 03-02-2021. Complaint against MakeMyTrip for short payment of train ticket refund – Rs.1272/-: Mr. Thiyagarajan of Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu (thiyagarajan.t(at)gmail.com) had posted a complaint with us on 28-03-2010 for non-receipt of full refund from MakeMyTrip against cancellation of train ticket. Refund from fake job site – Rs.2999/-: Mrs. Bhanu Araballi of Vijayanagar, Bangalore 560040, Karnataka paid money to Indeed job site for a job in TCS for the post of Assistant Manager Content Management. However, the job site did not provide any service and collected more money from the customer. Refund from Emyntra -Rs.5,846: Mr. Ajay Shah of Worli, Mumbai, Maharashtra (akscain[@]gmail.com) ordered for shoes through emyntra.com. After the initial payment of Rs.2,890/- he was lured to pay additional sum of Rs.2,956/- towards complimentary Lenovo Tablet. However, none of these products were delivered and instead he was offered new schemes and he was asked to pay more money. Complaint against Nivea Soft Cream – Rs.1,529/-: Mrs. Rekha Goyal of Nangal, Punjab (goyal1961@yahoo.co.in) had posted a complaint with ICF on 02-12-2009 with regard to Nivea Soft Cream purchased from the local market. She had stated that her faced swelled on using the cream and she incurred Rs.1,529/- for treatment.
