Complaint regarding connection from ACT Broadband

On 8th August, a representative from ACT company, came home to collect payment and my Aadhar details. I made a payment of INR 3749 after checking all the plans. The representative also informed me that I will be getting the connection in the next 2 working days.

2 weeks passed and I did not receive any calls nor was the installation completed. The representative also stopped attending my calls. After 2 weeks I asked for a refund of the full amount since I did not receive the connection. I asked for a refund on August 20th 2018. It is 12th of September today and I have not received the refund.

I call them everyday, and everyday I am promised a call back from escalations/refund team to take my bank details. But I never get it. I have spoken to two the of the TL’s Dxxxxl and Mxxxxxh. They said they will personally follow up on this case and make sure that within 24hrs I will be getting a response about my refund.

Now the agents on the floor just deny transferring my calls to the supervisor. I don’t want to waste my time on this anymore and wish to have my money back ASAP.

It’s a shame that a company with such big name plays such games to take money from people.
