Refund from MakeMyTrip – Rs.18,500/- : Ms. Alka Sachdeva, Okhla, Delhi booked ticket for her son under booking no. IN1410B4S146301 for the sector Mauritius to Delhi. She cancelled this on 16 Jan 2015 and ask for the refund. Makemytrip confirmed the refund of Rs.18,500/- will be made after the deduction. MMT said that refund will be processed within 5 days. Complaint against Hindustan Lever Pureit. Mr. Rupendrasinh Parmar of Narmada, Gujarat (Email: kaalirupen(at)yahoo.co.in) had lodged a complaint on 01-03-2010 regarding servicing of his defective Pureit. ICF had submitted the complaint to Hindustan Lever and the same was resolved on 02-03-2010.

Replacement of Micromax Mobile – Rs.7,200/-: Mr. Sambuddha Dasgupta of Guwahati purchased one Micromax Q413 mobile on 6 October 2016. He submitted the device with the service centre on 17-04-2017 for various issues but did not get delivery of the phone even after 15 days. Mr. Dasgupta posted his complaint with ICF on 03-05-2017 and the matter was taken up with Micromax. Finally, Mr. Dasgupta got a new replacement pone on 12-05-2017.

Replacement of Chimney by Kutchina – Rs.19,900/- : Subhajit Dey of Ambagan, Kolkata 700028, West Bengal purchased a Kutchina kitchen chimney (Model Name – Smarty) on the 08/06/2017. From the 3rd day of purchase, he started facing problems of “Oil leakage”. Even after three visits by the technician the chimney could not be repaired and the customer requested for replacement. Refund from Yepme – Rs.250/- – Mr. Prince Gupta of Faridabad, Haryana 121005 ordered a product with Yepme ( order No.32333647) but the order was cancelled by them without any intimation. Complaint regarding Vox heater brought through Ebay.in: NAINESH KAPADIA, Gangotri Soc, behind gandhi kutir, Gujarat (naineshkapadiaisavailable(at)gmail.com) purchased one Vox heater through Ebay.in. Upon receipt he found the appliance was of poor quality with broken parts inside. His complaints to Ebay went in vain and he posted his complaint with ICF on 26-01-2013. But he received a damaged product and was assured of refund by Flipkart. But the defective product was not picked up and no refund was made even after repeated requests.
