Complaint against ITBC Sweepstakes Scheme – Claim for refund of Rs.31,487/-: Mr. Nadeem Syed of Thane, Maharashtra had participated in the ITBC Sweepstakes Scheme by placing orders worth Rs.31,500/- on 17-03-2010 and 18-03-2010. Refund from Neartion – Rs. 4,490/-: Mr. K Ramu of Naimnagar 506001, Andhra Pradesh ordered a product on nearton on 28/12/16. His order id was 2448248 and he paid by debit card amount Rs 4490/-. He neither got the product nor refund. He posted his complaint with ICF on 20-01-2017 and the matter was taken up with the parties concerned. Refund from DTDC – Rs.1,040/-: Mr. Vivek Sharma of Bangalore, Karnataka (vivek0217[@]gmail.com) sent a courier through DTDC , reference number D17166789, on 10th May 2014 but it was lost on its way to Delhi. Package contained shoes worth Rs800 which was declared. He had submitted all documents in support of his claim of Rs 1040 (800+ 240 courier charges) but DTDC were not processing the same. Complaint against MakeMyTrip for short-refund – Rs.4,285/-: Mr. Angad Nagpal of Delhi (Email: angad_21(at)hotmail.com) had received short payment of refund against the cancellation of Kingfisher Airlines flight booked through MakeMyTrip in the sum of Rs.4,285/-. After not receiving the short paid refund amount even after reminders, Mr. Nagpal posted his complaint with ICF. Refund from Yepme – Rs.1,280/-: Mr. Sudhir Jena, Shillong, Meghalaya 793014 (drsudhirkumarjena[at]gmail.com) booked one item through online on dated 04/04/2013 vide order no is 1870949 which was not delivered even after repeated complaints. Refund from Flipkart – Rs.5,999/-: Mr. Dinga Sailo of Aizawl 796001, Mizoram ordered a mobile handset from Flipkart.com on 6th January 2015 for Rs.5999/-. When the parcel was deliver, he found journals and magazines instead of mobile device. He reported this to Flipkart but no steps were taken to resolve the issue. Replacement of Micromax Mobile – Rs.7,200/-: Mr. Sambuddha Dasgupta of Guwahati purchased one Micromax Q413 mobile on 6 October 2016. He submitted the device with the service centre on 17-04-2017 for various issues but did not get delivery of the phone even after 15 days. Mr. Dasgupta posted his complaint with ICF on 03-05-2017 and the matter was taken up with Micromax. Finally, Mr. Dasgupta got a new replacement pone on 12-05-2017.

Refund from Rediff Shopping – Rs.498/-: Parveen Bhalla of Kailash Vatika, Patna, 800010, Bihar (Email: drpavno1[at]gmail.com) ordered for a heavy duty vacuum cleaner with Rediff shopping on 31-05-2014. He received the product but it was of poor quality and was not as described. He registered a complaint with Rediff but got no assistance. Refund from Makemytrip – Rs.6,688/-: Mr. Anshu Tomar of Hyderabad, Telengana booked Spicejet ticket from Hyd to Del- SG226 (Travel date: 25 Dec 2014) & Del to Hyd ( Travel date: 4 Jan 2015)-SG235. He subsequently cancelled his Spicejet tickets on 24-12-2014 due to operational issues of Spicejet.
