I am having a registration in ZOOM car, registered under my wifes name for car rentals.
There was a booking of the car by renter Kxxxl Dxxxxxy through application ZOOM Car under ID JxxxxxxxxG from 19th Dec 2022 5.00 pm to 21st Dec 2022 4.00 pm, where in the renter had taken the vehicle from the said location with 50% petrol in it & the vehicle was in working condition with ODOMETER reading 68528 km.
Now the renter had to end the booking on 21st / extend the booking, which was not done even not informed and kept the vehicle unattended at third location for which had got the information about my vehicle lying at parking of advait complex bodakdev road ahmedabad where in there was no petrol in the vehicle the battery had completly drained and on complaining for the same in zoom car they towed the vehicle to service center in which they broke the front door glass as the vehicle was not able to unlock through system for which many times the complaint had been raised.
Now the service center team has mailed me approx 11 k estimate for the fuel pump not working & glass & fixing charges for which went back to zoom car but they denied for paying the charges saying that the same comes under host maintenance.
when checked the fuel was empty, engine was not working, ac not working, head lights wipers and many other parts of the car were not in working condition. The renter mr Kxxxl Dxxxxxy had kept the vehicle unattended with no fuel with end odometer reading 69044 km wherein he had used the vehicle for 500+ KM & fuel pump & other parts were nonfunctional due to his negligence.
Now on calling ZOOM car host team they are again & again saying that is is under host maintenance only.
kindly assist as we are middle income group people wherein to get additional income, we are keeping our car on rentals but not in a situation to make this kind of expenses due to renter negligence.
