Medical Policy of Apollo Munich not renewed by HDFC

I am a senior citizen and was having having a medical policy thru Canara bank Group Health cover of Appollo Munich. The premium was auto deducted from my bank. This time premium was not deducted despite the adequate balance in my account. When I inquired the bank they said that since apollo has been merged with HDFC general insurance hence they have discontinued the apollo policy so premium was not deducted. How can a insurance company do like this. When I need the insurance most I am left with no insurance and now at this age I cannot buy a fresh insurance, PLS HELP ME, attached my last policy recipt
