A customer service representative was called on to have a look at the possible problem with the TV remote provided with the Set-top box. Upon inspection we were told that the problem was actually with the set-top box (specifically with its motherboard) and said that it needed to be replaced. Hence, we were made to pay a token advance of Rs.1500 and took away the set-top box, remote and the adapter. We were told that he will be back within 3 days with the replacements.
We have followed-up continuously ever since by speaking with the customer care and we still continue to do so. Till date, we have never had any employee come back with the replacement nor has the amount been refunded yet. We were so fed up that we finally decided quit this horrible service once and for all and signed-up with Tata Sky to atleast start watching the TV once again.
Finally, this complaint is bring your attention to this open fraud committed by Videocon D2H’s employee with us and Videocon D2H not reimbursing us for the loss in spite of us raising this issue multiple times. We are stunned by the sheer lack of urgency to resolve this and also by the sheer neglect and in playing a part to cheat it’s customer in broad daylight with such ease. I sincerely hope and request you to have a look at this issue and have Videocon D2H pay us back our rightful amount and also pay us for the damages caused.
