I bought 3 cold(two Pepsi and a Limca) drinks which were of MRP 18 each. But I was charged 25 rupees each. When I checked I came to know that they were charging extra money above MRP on every cold drink. Restaurent name: Sardar Refreshment, Tardeo Road Junction, Mumbai.

If you are consuming cold drinks by availing their services in the restaurant then charging reasonably more than MRP has not been found to be an offence. However, you can raise a dispute if taxes have been charged on the MRP.
Then what is use of MRP if every retailer allowed to sell the items for more than MRP.
