I booked flight tickets for May 28 for my parents. I got a cancellation message from AirAsia on 26th afternoon that the flight is cancelled and I need to reschedule. I had to reschedule the flight on May 30 with AirAsia customer support over phone. It’s 2 days late due to which my mom will miss her scheduled Covid-19 Vaccine appointment.
EaseMyTrip originally charged Rs 8200 inclusive of taxes on the booking including a convenience fee of Rs 600. I got a receipt from AirAsia for Rs 5362 for the booking. EaseMyTrip didn’t have any info on the updated flight status and didn’t provide any support to reschedule the flight. It charged Rs 2838 extra for the booking without providing any service but just being another middle agent. Its customer support falsely claimed that they bear any additional charge in case of rescheduling. But in reality it asks for an additional Rs 3000 per ticket for any rescheduling request from flyer end. There was no response to rescheduling to another flight on requested date.

There’s a gap of Rs 2838 which is unethical and fraudulent. I demand a refund of Rs 2838.
